DJJ staff member injured after incident at Broad River facility

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A DJJ staff member was injured after an Sunday afternoon incident, said DJJ officials.

The incident happened in a housing unit at the Broad River Complex between a youth and a staff member.

The staff member received medical attention and no youth were injured. DJJ officials said the incident is still under investigation.
