Mega Millions Jackpot hits $650 million

(CNN)– The Mega Millions Jackpot for Tuesday night’s drawing has grown to an estimated $650 million with a $308.6 million cash option.

The jackpot has been getting larger and larger since it was last won on December 8 when there were two winning tickets in California.

If there’s a winner on Tuesday, it will be the seventh largest Mega Millions prize ever awarded.

The largest-ever jackpot was more than $1.6 billion, won on a single ticket in Florida in August 2023.
