Midlands HBCU’s particpating in Home Depot ‘Retool Your School’ voting process

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Home Depot has kicked off its 2024 Retool Your School program for the 15th year.

The program provides career development opportunities and improves campuses at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

According to a press release Home Depot expects to surpass $10 million in financial support since the program began in 2009.

Currently voting for the program is open until Sunday, March 24, with multiple HBCUs in the Midlands on the list.

Some schools on the list include Claflin University, South Carolina State University, Benedict College, Allen University, Denmark Technical College and more.
