Reward for church’s stolen kitchen equipment increases

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The reward has been increased for information on what happened to thousands of dollars in kitchen equipment taken from a local church.

Columbia Police say a private, anonymous donor has increased the reward from five to seven thousand dollars to find where the missing equipment may be.

The equipment belonged to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. The Greek Festival has been a tradition at the church for more than 30 years.

Anyone with information that can help to finding the items is asked to reach out to the Columbia Police Department or CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIMESC.
