Viral Trader Joe’s mini totes being resold on eBay

(CNN)– Fans of Trader Joe’s are now scouring the internet hoping they can get their hands on a T.J. tote bag.

The popular item was sold in stores recently for only $2.99 and shoppers are quickly buying them up.

But people are still clamoring the tote in places where they are sold out.

SO they have turned to social media for help.

Re-sellers are making quite a profit.

They are selling the bags on eBay and Facebook Marketplace and they are cashing in.

Some totes reportedly are selling from five to five hundred dollars.

But for those who do not want to pay those prices, they have to wait until Trader Joe’s gets a new shipment in stores.

The company did say they expect more of the totes to be sold but a new shipment will not arrive until September.
