Search underway for missing boater on Lake Carolina

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– The Columbia Fire Department and Department of Natural Resources are searching for a missing boater.
According to a spokesperson for the fire department, just before 3pm Thursday afternoon, a kayaker over turned on Lake Carolina and did not resurface.
No word on the kayaker’s identity at this time.
