Update: Woman identified in a fatal shooting at a nightclub in Richland County

1 woman dead, 2 injured in shooting at a nightclub in Richland County.

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Coroner Naida Rutherford identified the victim as Destiny Jones, 24, of Columbia, SC.

According to investigators, shortly after 5 a.m., deputies were dispatched to Vegas Knights at 3722 River Drive in reference to a fight with a weapon.

When deputies arrived, the fight was over and they learned that three victims left the scene to go to the hospital. Investigators say Jones was shot in the upper body and died.

Two men also sustained gunshot wounds one to the upper body and the other to the lower body. Both men are being treated at a local hospital.
