1 dead after house fire in Richland County, say firefighters

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– One person is dead after a house fire in Gadsen on Sunday.

Columbia-Richland Firefighters say they responded to the home on Goodwin Way after 8:40 p.m. where it was fully engulfed.

They later extinguished the flames and found the victim’s body inside. The Richland County Coroner’s Office is working to identify the victim.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
