2 adults, 3 children displaced after house fire

 

 

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– No one is hurt after a fire destroyed a home in Chapin on Monday, say officials.

Lexington County Firefighters say it happened around 10:30 a.m. on Amicks Ferry Road.

One adult and three kids were inside at the time of the fire but they all escaped safely and were not hurt.

But firefighters say the house is a total loss. The American Red Cross is helping the family of two adults and six children.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
