Gas prices are soaring, industry experts expect prices to continue to rise

(CNN)– Gas prices are higher now that they have been all year. According to AAA, the national average price for regular gas climbed to $3.48 a gallon.

In South Carolina, the average price is $3.23 a gallon. It’s the first time since December the prices have been up on a year-over-year basis.

Industry experts say wile demand usually increases as the weather warms up other factors are causing prices to skyrocket, specially recent drone attacks on Russian oil refineries and extreme weather.
