Popular YouTuber MrBeast strikes Amazon deal for competition reality show

(CNN)– Youtube star MrBeast has penned a deal with Amazon for a new reality competition on Prime Video called “Beast Games”.

MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, says the show will feature a $5 million prize and more than a thousand contestants.

According to Donaldson, it will be the largest game show in history and will break many other world records.

Netflix previously claimed the record for most contestants and biggest cash prize with its “Squid Game: The Challenge” reality competition series.
