COMET drivers honored at special awards ceremony for Transit Employee Appreciation Week
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– On Thursday March 21, the COMET held a special awards ceremony for two bus operators.
Phillip Patterson and Moses Taylor each celebrated more than 45 years of transporting passengers on the Midlands’ bus system and are two of the longest tenured bus operators in the country.
According to COMET officials, neither has had an accident or even tardiness.
The awards were given as part of Transit Employee Appreciation Week.
