SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A man accused of attacking a pregnant woman this month is behind bars.
Deputies say on March 2, 30-year-old Chase Ward is accused of hitting a pregnant victim, grabbing her hair and throwing her to the ground.
The victim said her cell phone was also damaged when she tried to call law enforcement.

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County deputies say a man is wanted after hitting a pregnant woman and throwing her to the ground on March 2.
The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office says 30-year-old Chase Braeden Ward is accused of hitting a pregnant woman in her head, pulling her hair and throwing her to the ground.
He is also accused of damaging the victim’s phone when she tried to contact law enforcement.
