SCSO: Man accused of assaulting victim, causing injury

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A man was arrested after Sumter County deputies say he is accused of assaulting a victim which caused injury to the person.

Sumter County Deputies say David Allen Kinsey, Jr., had a disagreement with a victim at an establishment on Broad Street before the assault took place.

Investigators, along with the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force found Kinsey at a home in the area of Sommerset Drive and after several hours he was persuaded to surrender.

He was arrested on Tuesday, March 19 after a warrant for his arrest was issued on Friday, March 8.

Kinsey was taken to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center and released on a $15,000 bond.
