FAA to review United Airlines OPS after incidents

(CNN)– The Federal Aviation Administration is planning to take a closer look at United Airlines.

This comes after 11 safety-related incidents were reported over the past few weeks.

Which includes a plane sliding off a runway and several hydraulic systems issues on numerous planes.

In a memo sent to United employees, airline officials said the FAA will be reviewing their facilities, manuals and work processes.

In a statement the FAA noted that its safety assurance system routinely monitors all aspects of an airline’s operation to effectively manage safety.
