Sheriff Lott files for re-election

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is seeking another term in office.

On Tuesday afternoon, Sheriff Lott filed for re-election at the county election commission on Hampton Street.

Sheriff Lott was first elected the sheriff position back in 1996.

The sheriff says he’s been honored to be able to serve the people of Richland County for so long and hopes to continue doing so in the future.

Elections take place on November 5.
