Lexington County man sentenced to 15 years in prison after hitting someone in the head with a pool stick

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A Lexington County man will spend 15 years in prison for hitting someone in the head with a pool stick.

According to the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, Gary Maner was sentenced last Friday after pleading guilty to aggravated assault.

In June of last year deputies with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department say they responded to a local bar where they found Maner and the victim.

Officials say the victim is recovering but will likely require lifelong treatment and care.
