Burger King offering free whoppers for solar eclipse

(CNN)– Burger King is gearing up for the solar eclipse.

On April 8, the fast food chain is giving out free whoppers in honor of the rare celestial event.

The deal is exclusive to royal perks members who test “eclipse” to 251251.

Fans can then redeem the buy-one-get-one offer through the app.

A solar eclipse happens when the sun, moon and earth line up.

The last total solar eclipse visible in the U.S. happened in 2017.
