Kia recalls more than 400K cars due to roll away risk
(CNN)– Kia has recalled more than 427 thousand Telluride SUV’s.
The National Traffic Safety Administration says the SUV can roll away while in park.
Their report also says a main component of the SUV’s steering wheel may have been improperly assembled.
All Telluride vehicles made between 2020 and 2023 and certain 2024 models are affected by the recall.
Owners are being asked to take the SUV to a Kia dealer and to have an updated electronic parking brake software installed.
Kia will reimburse you for the repair.
