Lexington Police searching for person accused of attempting to cash fraudulent checks
LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying someone accused of trying to cash fraudulent checks at a credit union on Sunset Boulevard, say police.
The individual tried to cash two checks totaling $2,500 and $2,400 at State Credit Union on Thursday, March 21.
Investigators say during each attempt the person wore a different wig, presented a different North Carolina licenses and was driving a different vehicle.
