Local Living: Columbia International Festival, Black culinary traditions at state museum, Comedian Bert Kreischer

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s Look at Local Living, you can explore different cultures at the Columbia International Festival this weekend.

The event is on April 6th and April 7th at the state fairgrounds. It brings together music, food and culture from all over the world.

Pre-sale tickets are $7 for adults, $4 for teens and free for kids 12 and under. Parking is also $5.

 

The state museum is hosting s special event to honor Black culinary traditions in South Carolina.

Rising Culinary Artist Amethyst Ganaway will prepare samples and talk about the important of tradition.

The event takes place on Saturday, May 18, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 for the general public and $40 for members.

 

Comedian Bert Kreischer is bringing his Tops Off World Tour to the Colonial Life Arena next week.

The show starts on Thursday, April 11, at 7 p.m., doors open at 6 p.m. You cannot take photos or record video at the show.
