Carolina-Clemson baseball game 3 will not be rescheduled

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– University of South Carolina athletics officials say the baseball team’s match up with Clemson that was postponed due to rain on March 1st will not be made up.

Officials say the teams were unable to schedule a new date based on current schedules.

An athletic department spokesperson says tickets for the Clemson game will be honored for a future South Carolina baseball game.  Fans can email gctix@mailbox.sc.edu for more information.

The Gamecocks dropped the first two games to the Tigers played earlier this season at Segra Park in Columbia and in Clemson.

South Carolina plays North Carolina Tuesday night in Charlotte.
