ECLIPSE OVER, BUT ARE YOUR EYES DAMAGED?

(CNN)– The solar eclipse has come and gone but what about your eyesight?

Symptoms of eye damage may not appear for hours.

The American Academy of Ophthalmology says it could take twelve hours for symptoms to appear.

They range from blurry vision to headaches.

You can also experience blind spots, distorted vision and changes in the way you see color.

If your eyes are feeling strained, experts say it could be temporary.

But you still need to visit an eye doctor to learn about the extent of any possible damage.
