Mattel launches new version of Scrabble

(CNN)–  Mattel is launching a new collaborative version of one of the world’s most loved word games, scrabble.

“Scrabble Together” will be available across Europe.

Instead of competing players collaborate to complete goal cards.

And there are helper cards if assistance is required.

Mattel says the new game mode aims to bring people together.

It says it’s for anyone who finds word games intimidating or whoever thought word games are not for them.

The new spin on Scrabble comes more than 75 years after the classic version came out.
