SCDOT swears in new Secretary of Transportation Justin Powell

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Its official the South Carolina Department of Transportation has a new secretary.

Justin Powell was sworn in this afternoon. Powell had previously served as the departments’s chief operating officer.

He says he is ready to hit the ground running. Powell replaces Former Transportation Secretary Christy Hall who announced her retirement in January.
