Former SCDJJ employee accused of providing vape pen to youth

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A Former SCDJJ employee has been arrested for providing vape pen to youth, says DJJ.

Deandra Shante Delly is accused of provided a vape pen to youth while working at the Broad River Road Complex.

Delly is being charged with adult furnishing contraband to a juvenile in custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice.

Officials say she turned herself in at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center on Wednesday morning.

Also, she resigned from her position before the SCDJJ investigation into her concluded.
