City Public Works holding compost giveaway

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– City of Columbia’s Public Works is hosting a free compost giveaway this month for residents.

The giveaway will be held at 121 Humane Lane on Saturday, April 27, beginning at 8 a.m. and end at 12 p.m.

The free event is for residents only.

City officials say Public Works will assist with loading material onto the vehicles residents choose to bring.
