Irmo Firefighters work to control Monday afternoon fire

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)– Irmo Fire Crews worked to control a Monday afternoon fire which caused heavy damage, said firefighters.

According to the fire department, the help of Lexington County Firefighters, and Columbia-Richland Firefighters they were working the scene of a structure fire on Pine Island.

One home was destroyed and a second structure was heavily damaged.
