Richland County coroner identifies 3 killed after I-20 collision

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Richland County Coroner has identified the three people killed after a Saturday night interstate collision in Richland County, says the coroner’s office.

According to Coroner Naida Rutherford, Danesha Walker, Shyheim White and Zhyon Burgess were all identified as victims of the early morning Saturday collision.

Highway Patrol says all of the victim’s were in a 2016 Kia Forte that was stopped on the roadway heading west on I-20 when a freight liner truck was going west on the highway hit the Forte in the rear.

Walker, White and Burgess were all pronounced dead at the collision scene around 2 a.m.
