Woods fire on Old Dunbar Road under control in Lexington Co.

LEXINGTON CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Lexington firefighters say a 1 acre woods fire that broke out this morning is under control.

Lexington County PIO Jessica Imbimbo says it happened before 7 a.m. at the 1800 block of Old Dunbar Road in the West Columbia area.

No injuries have been reported.

Cayce firefighters also responded to help fight the blaze.

Imbimbo says there will likely be light smoke coming from the area throughout the day.
