TikTok ban in new aid bills up for votes this week

(CNN)– A new bill to ban TikTok could be up for a House vote this week.

It’s different than the one the chamber passed last month with strong bipartisan support.

Sources say this time the ban is tucked into a set of four separate bills.

They address Democrats’ foreign aid priories and could make the ban harder for the Senate to ignore.

Three of the bills have aid for the Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan and sources say the fourth includes a ban on TikTok.

The Senate has yet to take up a different TikTok bill that the House passed with strong bipartisan last month.
