FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A 20-year-old has to be arrested for attempted murder after a stabbing incident in Fairfield County says officials.

Around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, deputies responded to a report of a stabbing incident that occurred during a physical altercation between two individuals on Turkey Creek Road in the Blackstock area of Fairfield County.

Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office deputies say Tyrone D. Foster was identified as a suspect in the incident. When deputies responded to the scene, Foster left in a vehicle.

But deputies were able to identify the vehicle, find it a short distance away from the scene and conduct a traffic stop which led to him being in custody.

The victim was taken to a medical facility by Fairfield County EMS with what deputies say appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

Foster was taken to the Fairfield County Detention Center where he was awaiting bond.
