Officers are closing Sumter Street at Oakland Avenue temporarily until repairs can be made to address a leaning utility pole with low-hanging lines, says the Sumter Police Department.

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– Officers are closing Sumter Street at Oakland Avenue temporarily until repairs can be made to address a leaning utility pole with low-hanging lines, says the Sumter Police Department.

Residents are asked to find an alternate route if you need to be in the area.
