Richland One students take part in Special Olympics South Carolina’s Midlands Spring games

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– At Richland School District One more than 60 special olympics athletes were working for the gold on Friday.

Students from across Richland One took part in the Special Olympics South Carolina’s Midlands Spring games.

The event included a softball throw. Organizers say it’s an exciting time for participants.

Friday’s events took place at Keenan High School in Richland District One.
