5th annual Kinetic Derby Day

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The 5th annual Kinetic Derby Day raced its way to West Columbia on Saturday.

This year they introduced an exciting twist.

A cartoon theme event featuring a soapbox race, kinetic sculpture parade and an obstacle course.

Organizers say the goal is to spark imaginative thinking and cultivate problem-solving skills.

City leaders also say this is a festival packed with captivating demonstrations and even more hand-on experiences for families.
