Kershaw County coroner releases name of man killed after motorcycle collision

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Kershaw County Coroner David West has identified the person who died following a motorcycle collision on Saturday, says the coroner’s office.

According to Coroner West, the victim of the Saturday, April 20, collision is identified as 72-year-old Herman Parker from Camden.

Coroner West says Parker who was riding a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling toward Black River Road when he went into a curve and ran off the right side of the road around 11:57 a.m. on Tickle Hill Road

He was taken to MUSC-Kershaw Health in Camden where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
