Local photographer, Army vet helps other vets transition to civilian life with free headshots

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– For veterans it can be challenging to transition into civilian life especially when it comes to finding employment outside of the military.

One local photographer says he knows this first hand from his own journey after the military.

Portraits for Portraits and Essential Headshots are partnering together and offering veterans free professional headshots as they seek new career opportunities.

Micheal Woodland is the owner of ESNTL Headshots and an Army veteran with 22 years of service.

Woodland says the headshots can be included in resumes and used on social platforms like Linkedin.
