Grand jury issues indictment against 11 Republican electors

(CNN) — An Arizona Grand Jury has indicted eleven Trump allies. They include Rudy Giuliani and Mark Meadows. That Grand Jury handed up their indictment for a scheme to keep trump in the White House by falsely certifying he won the state in 2020,  a scheme aimed at “preventing the lawful transfer of the presidency  against the will of voters.”
the decision could levy criminal consequences.

Those 11 GOP electors met at the Arizona Republican headquarters posting videos of them casting their votes for Trump.They signed paperwork to submit to congress claiming they were duly elected and qualified electors. they were not.

This as President Biden carried Arizona in 2020, by almost 10,500 votes with nearly 3.4 million votes cast.
