SC ranked 5th most foreclosures

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina has one of the highest foreclosure rates in the nation, according to ATTOM, A real estate data company.

In February, they conducted a study that shows about one in every 2,000 homes in the state had a foreclosure filing during that month.

That is the fifth most in the country.

Their research shows Columbia, Spartanburg, and Florence counties have the highest number of foreclosures statewide.
