2 arrested in connection with attempted armed robbery of postal carrier

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Kershaw County deputies responded to the Cleveland School Road area of Camden after the attempted armed robbery of a postal carrier on Tuesday, says the KCSO.

The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office says on Tuesday, April 23, the postal carrier told them, he was delivering mail when a red vehicle stopped in front of him and a man got out of it to approach him with a gun.

He also told the sheriff’s office that the man demanded items from him.

When the man realized that the postal carrier did not have what he wanted, he went back to the passenger side of the vehicle and it drove off.

Through surveillance video KCSO investigators were able to identify the car as a red Dodge Charger.
