Person taken to hospital after Lakeside Avenue shooting incident

One person was taken to a local hospital after a shooting incident in the 100 block of Lakeside Avenue on Friday afternoon, says RCSD.

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– One person was taken to a local hospital after a shooting incident in the 100 block of Lakeside Avenue on Friday afternoon, says RCSD.

According to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to a shooting incident around 12 p.m.

When they arrived to the Lakeside Avenue location they found one victim. The victim was taken to a local hospital.

Investigators say portions of Lakeside Drive are not open to the public at this time but the scene is secured.
