Local Living: Rosewood Crawfish Festival, Art on the State, state museum honoring Black culinary traditions

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)–In today’s look at Local Living, the Rosewood Crawfish Festival is coming back to the state fairgrounds this weekend.
It starts this Saturday, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. There will be live music, family fun, local art and of course crawfish.
The 8th annual Art on the State is back next Friday, May 10th, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on State Street.
The event features live music, vendors and food from local restaurants.
There will also be live mural art and specials from nearby businesses. Admission is free.
The state museum is hosting a special event to honor Black culinary traditions in South Carolina.
Rising culinary artist Amethyst Ganaway will prepare samples and talk about the important of tradition.
The event takes place Saturday, May 18th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Tickets are $50 for the general public and $40 for members.
