Gas prices may be at peak for Spring
(CNN)– Gas prices in the U.S. may have hit their peak for the Spring and possibly the year. As of this afternoon, the national average for a gallon is $3.66, according to AAA.
That’s down about a penny from last week. In South Carolina, the average price is $3.26 a gallon.
Analysts say fuel costs could continue falling over the next few weeks due to a number of factors.
Those include the end of spiking oil prices and record-setting crude production in the U.S.
