Columbia Children’s Theatre holding auditions for summer show Seussical

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Children’s Theatre is holding auditions for its summer musical.

Performers in grades 1-12 (23-24 school year) will have two opportunities to audition for Seussical followed by callbacks.

Auditions will take place at Brookland Lakeview Empowerment Center in West Columbia (1218 Batchelor St, West Columbia, SC 29169).

“The Summer Show is an incredible opportunity for both new and experienced performers to grow and take the stage,” says CCT Education Director Paul Lindley.

Schedule of Auditions

• Opportunity 1: Saturday, May 11th @ 2:00-3:30pm (grades 1-6) and 3:30-5:00pm (grades 7-12)
• Opportunity 2: Monday, May 13th @ 6:00-7:30pm (grades 1-6) and 7:30-9pm (grades 7-12)
• Callbacks: Tuesday, May 14th @ 6-8pm Callbacks (we will let actors who are called back know via email after their audition session if they need to return for callbacks on this date)

Each summer CCT’s YouTheatre ensembles join forces for one incredible production, featuring performers of all ages, say theatre officials.
