Dave & Buster’s to allow customers to bet on games

(CNN)– People seem to love betting on lots of things these days, so why not video games?

Dave & Buster’s are working to make that happen.

The arcade and restaurant operator has partnered with a gaming provider called Lucra.

The idea is that customers will be able to place wagers on game outcomes using the Dave and Busters app.

CNBC is reporting the betting function is expected to be available in 44 states and limited to players who are at least 18 years old.

According to NBC, Lucra has said there will be limits on bets but didn’t say what that is.

The company did say the average bet between users is $10.
