Planned Parenthood argues over SC fetal heartbeat ban
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Officials with Planned Parenthood made arguments at the Richland County Courthouse over South Carolina’s fetal heartbeat abortion ban that went into effect last summer.
They’re asking the court to clarify the ban’s definition of a “Fetal Heartbeat”, which was left unclear in the State Super Court’s decision that the ban was constitutional.
Right now, the law bans abortions after 6 weeks of pregnancy.
