Report: WNBA ticket sales up 93% on Stubhub for 2024

(CNN)– The demand for WNBA tickets this season is up 93% compared to this time last year.

According to a season preview report from Stubhub, the dramatic increase is largely thanks to College Basketball Star Caitlin Clark and her new team the Indiana Fever.

So far, the fever ticket sales have increased more than 13 times compared to last year, according to the report.

As of this week, 9 of the 10 best-selling games this upcoming season are away games for the Fever team.

Meanwhile, sales for the defending champions the Las Vegas Aces have increased about 190%.
