Councilwoman wants women to learn to protect themselves with safety class

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Councilwoman Gretchen D. Barron is encouraging women to learn tools to protect themselves with a safety class.

The free event will help women learn hoe to assess and avoid dangerous situations using self-defense techniques and helpful strategies.

County officials say the classes are taught by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
