Rawls Creek Park sidewalk closed for construction

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)– Town of Irmo officials announced that the sidewalk leading to the community garden, dog park, and Irmo Skate Park at Rawls Creek Park will be closed to vehicular traffic.

The closure takes place starting on Tuesday, May 7, at 4 p.m.

According to the Town of Irmo Facebook page, the closure is due to construction work that will be taking place soon.

People are asked to park in the main parking lot located at the front of the park and walk down to the desired facilities.

The town expects all construction to Rawls Creek Park to be done by September of this year.
