Comedian Martin Lawrence making comedy tour stop in Columbia

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– This summer comedian and actor Martin Lawrence is hitting the road with his “Ya’ll Know What It Is!” comedy tour and is making a stop in Columbia.

On Wednesday, May 8, Lawrence announced he will be headlining a national arena tour which is making a stop at Colonial Life Arena on Saturday, September 7.

It will be the comedians first comedy tour since 2016.

Officials say comedians Deon Cole and Benji Brown are expected to at the Columbia show with Lawrence.

The “Y’all Know What It Is!” tour is set to launch after the June 7 release of Bad Boys: Ride or Die which co-stars Will Smith.

Tickets for the September 7 show go on sale Friday, May 17, at 10 a.m.

“Comedy gives me that instant gratification. Seeing the fans up close and in person, making people laugh, doing what I love most, this is what it’s all about for me. But hey…y’all know what it is!,” Lawrence says.
